Online registration will close at 10pm on October 15th, In person registration will be available at the Race Expo on October 16th from 12:00pm - 7:00pm

The Half Marathon course will take you through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods Greensboro has to offer. Say hi to neighbors as they cheer you on with their morning coffee, but don't lose too much focus as this is a challenging course that will require all of your attention!

Packet pick-up will not be available on race day. If you will be unable to attend packet pick-up on Friday, October 16th, and you need a packet mailed to you, you must register by September 25th. Packet delivery will be $10. This will be an optional item in online registration. Packets will be mailed to the address provided at registration.


Half Marathon Starting Line

The Half Marathon will start on North Elm Street next to Center City Park.


Race Day Parking

Parking will be available anywhere in Downtown Greensboro except for roads/lots that are closed for the event. The Davie Street Parking Deck on the corner of Davie and Friendly will be nearest to the start/finish line and the deck is free on Saturday until 9pm. Athlete Swag

2015 Greensboro Marathon and Half Marathon medals will be the finishing piece of the Trivium Racing Super-Medal!

Every half marathon participant will receive an official long sleeve technical race shirt and will be admitted to the special post-race celebration featuring plenty of free food, drink, and live music.

Every athlete finishing the half marathon will receive a special medal at the finish line.

Overall awards are determined by clock time; age group awards by chip time.

  • Cash awards go to the top three overall finishers, male and female.
  • Additional awards will be presented to the top five in all age groups in both races.
Age groups are: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.

The Awards Ceremony for overall winners in each race will take place in the finish line area immediately after they have all completed the race. Age Group awards will take place at the finish line area at about 12 noon. If you are unable to attend the ceremony, you may arrange to pick up your award in Greensboro or pay to have it mailed to you in the following week.


Bag Check

If you would like to check any items just before the start, please allow yourself enough time to drop off your provided bag (only Greensboro Marathon provided bags will be accepted) at the designated bag check so it can be returned to you after the race.
